The Green Bay Gamblers have acquired forward Landen Gunderson from the Madison Capitols in exchange for a 2024 Phase 2 3rd round pick and a conditional 2025 Phase 2 5th Round Pick. Gunderson will take part in the Gamblers Main Camp, Sunday, June 4 – Thursday, June 8 at the Resch Center. Camp is open and free to the public.
An early season injury, limited Gunderson to just 33 games last season. A Western Michigan University commit, Gunderson was one of the most prolific scorers in Minnesota High School hockey, tallying 80 points in 30 games for Maple Grove High School in 2021-22.
“We are excited to add Landen to our organization,” said Gamblers Head Coach/General Manager Mike Leone. “We had some tough games against Madison last year and as a staff we always really liked him. He’s healthy now and we think he can have a breakout season.”
The 2023-2024 campaign marks the 30th year of Gamblers hockey in the United States Hockey League. Stay tuned to the Gamblers social media platforms for the latest team news.
