The Green Bay Gamblers hit the road for a pair of games against the Fargo Force this Thursday and Friday at Scheels Arena in Fargo, North Dakota.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Central Time both nights and you can watch the games live on FloHockey. The two-game series gives Green Bay an opportunity to build momentum and pick up valuable points against a Fargo team that has gotten off to a strong start this season.
The Gamblers enter the weekend looking to find consistency after a challenging opening stretch. Green Bay earned a 4-3 victory over the Sioux City Musketeers on October 10, bouncing back from a 6-1 loss the previous night. That win provides a positive starting point as the Gamblers prepare for another tough road test.
Fargo has been one of the Western Conference’s early contenders, entering the week with five wins in its first eight games. The Force also bring confidence into the series after earning a weekend sweep of the Sioux Falls Stampede, including a 5-0 shutout on October 10.
One key matchup to watch will be Green Bay’s ability to generate offense against a Fargo team that has allowed just 16 goals through its first eight games. The Gamblers will need strong puck management, traffic in front of the net and timely finishing opportunities to challenge the Force on home ice.
With two games in two nights, goaltending and special teams could play a major role in determining the outcome. Limiting turnovers, staying disciplined and winning battles along the boards will be important for Green Bay as it looks to come away with points.
The Gamblers and Force meet Thursday, October 15, and Friday, October 16, with both games beginning at 7:05 p.m. Central Time at Scheels Arena.
Green Bay returns home next weekend to host the Des Moines Buccaneers on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, at the Resch Center.
