The Green Bay Gamblers traded forward Landen Gunderson to the Sioux City Musketeers in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2024 USHL Phase 2 draft. Gunderson appeared in 20 games this season, registering two goals and five assists. Gunderson was acquired by the Gamblers this past summer in a trade with the Madison Capitols.
The Gamblers have added defenseman Caeden Herrington to their active roster. Herrington, 17, is a native of Manchester, Vermont. A senior at Holderness School, he will join the Gamblers at the conclusion of his prep hockey season in the early spring.
A University of Vermont recruit, Herrington has a pair of goals and 16 points in helping his Holderness Bulls capture the Lawrence-Groton Holiday Tournament title and the school’s first ever 8-0 start. The 6-foot-2, 189-pound right-shooting defenseman is on NHL Central Scouting’s Preliminary Players to Watch List as a 6th/7th -round prospect for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
“We are excited to have Caeden join the Gamblers organization,” said Head Coach and General Manager Michael Leone. “He is a mobile two-way defender who can play in all situations.”
