The Green Bay Gamblers made several roster changes on Monday. The following players were released; forwards Ashton Dahms, Christian Maro and defenseman Evan Orloff. Forward Jakub Altrichter was traded to Waterloo for a 7th round conditional pick in the 2024 Phase 2 draft.
Green Bay heads to the Fall Classic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to open the 2023-2024 season. The Gamblers play Lincoln and Sioux City on Thursday and Friday.
Green Bay finished the pre-season with a record of 3-1. Wins came over Dubuque (6-5), Chicago (2-1), and Madison (4-0). The lone loss was against Madison (6-4).
The Gamblers home opener is Saturday, October 7, 2023, Resch Center. Start time, 6:05 PM.
