Gamblers Fall Short to USA on Heavy Metal Night

The Green Bay Gamblers faced the USA U18s on Saturday night. Green Bay would end up falling 3-2 on Heavy Metal Night at the Resch Center.

The scoring wouldn’t start until the second period when Bodie Nobes would put the Gamblers up 1-0 with assists from Matt DiMarsico and Ray Vitolins. But Team USA would respond, scoring three straight goals to give them a 3-1 lead heading into the final period. Eli Sebastian would give the Gamblers a chance to tie by scoring seven minutes in. But, with the goalie pulled in the last minute of the game, Green Bay wouldn’t find the back of the net, falling to the U18s 3-2 at the Resch Center.

Defensively, Kristoffer Eberly had a game time of 58:6, saving 25 of 28 shots, allowing three goals. Two of the three stars were Green Bay with Nobes and Sebastian taking the second and third star.

The Gamblers are back at the Resch Center Friday, March 17 for a St. Patrick’s Day special. Puck drop is at 7:05 PM.
