Gamblers beat Cedar Rapids in Late-Game Thriller

The Green Bay Gamblers faced the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in their fourth matchup of the season. The Gamblers would go on to win in a thrilling 5-4 game at the Resch Center for Military Appreciation Night.

Hitting the ice for the fourth time with the RoughRiders, Cedar Rapids held a 2-1 lead after the first with Matthew Rafalski putting the Gamblers on the board. Moving into the second, Jimmy Clark leveled the playing field with a score. But the RoughRiders would add two goals of their own, making it 4-2 heading into the third. Green Bay would storm back in the final period of game with goals from Matthew DiMarsico and Michael DeAngelo. With the game tied at four with just 56 seconds left, Barrett Hall would bury the go-ahead goal. That goal would eventually earn the Gamblers a 5-4 win at the Resch Center.

Defensively, Kristoffer Eberly played all 60 minutes saving 18 of the 22 shots on goal, allowing a Gambler 5-4 win.

The three stars were all Gamblers, with Clark, Hall, and Rafalski taking home the honors.

The Gamblers play at the Resch Center again Wednesday, December 28. Make sure to join us for Princess & Superhero Night. Puck drop is at 7:05 PM, and you can get your tickets at gamblershockey.com
