GAMBLERS ACQUIRE JIMMY CLARK

The Green Bay Gamblers have acquired forward Jimmy Clark from the Sioux City Musketeers.  Clark along with defenseman Leyton Stenman and a 2022 1st Round pick were acquired as part of the Damien Carfagna trade this past February.  Sioux City also receives forward Sawyer Scholl.

Clark split time between Sioux City and Edina High School (Minnesota) this past year.  The University of Minnesota commit collected three assists for the Clark Cup champion Musketeers.  At Edina, Clark tallied 38 points in 31 games.  In 2020-21, Clarke played 10 games for the U.S. National Program.

Stenman appeared in 45 games between the Gamblers and Musketeers last season, tallying a goal and four assists. Stenman is eligible to return for the 2022-23 campaign.

With the 1st round pick acquired in the trade, the Gamblers selected University of Wisconsin defenseman Jake Martin.  The White Bear Lake, Minnesota native appeared in 11 games with the Badgers this past season.  Prior to his time in Madison, Martin played at the U.S. National Program under Gamblers Head Coach/GM Mike Leone.

The Gamblers Main Camp begins on Saturday, June 11 at the Resch Center. Camp includes players from all over the United States, Canada, and Europe.  Camp is free and open to the public.  Stay tuned to the Gamblers website www.gamblershockey.com for game times.
