Ashton Dahms, Gambler affiliate and forward for Lakeville South High School, led the Cougars to the Minnesota Class 1AA Section Championship in a 4-1 win over Lakeville North.

Throughout the section tournament, the high school junior showed his worth to Lakeville South. Through the three games the Cougars played, he led the team in scoring with eight points on five goals and three assists, including a semifinal hat trick against Rochester Mayo.
