Win Streak Ends at Three

The Green Bay Gamblers (11-12-0-1) fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks (13-10-1-2) in a 3-2 loss on Saturday at the Resch Center on First Responder’s Night.

The first period proved to be a quiet one, with neither team scoring. However, the Gamblers would gain a 2-0 lead at the end of the second with goals from Brody Lamb (6) and Alex Servagno (7). After this, Muskegon would make a third-period surge, scoring three straight to hand the Gamblers a 3-2 loss.

Brody Lamb led the way for the Gamblers with 1 goal and assist to his name. Alex Servagno would score 1 goal as well. Damien Carfagna (25) and Ryan Greene (11) tallied 1 assist each. Defensively, Aaron Randazzo had a game time of 59:05, saving 30 of 33 shots, allowing 3 goals.

Green Bay will play the Madison Capitals (13-10-2) Friday, December 31, at the Resch Center.

Muskegon will play the Youngstown Phantoms (9-11-1-3) in Muskegon Friday, December 31, at Mercy Health Arena.
