Green Bay Continues The Home Point Streak

The Green Bay Gamblers fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Friday at the Resch Center 4-3 in a shootout.  Gamblers defenseman Mason Lohrei scored with 3-seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game at 4-4. Muskegon had a chance to win the game at the end of overtime when Lumberjacks forward Rhett Pitlick was awarded a penalty shot.  Aaron Randazzo, who made 26 saves in the game, stopped Pitlick and the game headed to a 3-man shootout.  Lumberjacks forward David Hymovitch scored the lone goal, as Alex Servagno, Jackson Kunz and Mason Lohrei were all denied by Lumberjacks goaltender Nate Reid, who finished the game with 39 saves.

Green Bay built a 3-0 lead on goals by Jesse Tucker (18:22/1st period), Lohrei (1:08/2nd period) and Camden Thiesing (5:29/2nd Period/PP).

Muskegon tallied four unanswered, taking the lead at the 15:16 mark of the third period with a short-handed goal.

Green Bay pulled Randazzo in the final minute of regulation for the extra attacker.  In the waning seconds of regulation, Lohrei found a loose puck in the slot area and beat Reid to send the game to overtime.
