The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that second year defenseman Jackson Charlesworth has been named team captain.
Charleworth suited up for 57 games last season registering 15 points (1 goal, 14 assists.) The Antigo WI, native is committed to Northern Michigan.
The assistant captains are returning forwards Josh Dunne and Matt Jennings. Jennings posted 25 points in 60 games last season and is committed to Ohio State. Dunne returns for his third full season with the Gamblers. Committed to Clarkson, the O’Fallon, MO native has seen action in 80 games over his USHL career tallying 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists).
The Gamblers open the season this weekend at the Resch Center. Friday night versus the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Saturday versus the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Face-off for both contest is scheduled for 7:05pm. For more information on promotions or purchasing tickets go to gamblershockey.com.
