Green Bay Gamblers Strength and Conditioning Coach Jason Aldirch has been hired by the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League as the team’s Head Strength and Condition Coach/Assistant Equipment Manager. Aldrich served as the Gamblers Strength and Conditioning Coach for the past five seasons.
Prior to joining the Gamblers, Aldrich was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for all sports at Michigan Tech University. The Hancock, Michigan native worked at the NHL level with the San Jose Sharks, serving as an intern strength coach. As a player, Aldrich appeared in 86 games from 2004-08 for Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan, registering 22 goals and 23 assists. Aldrich played his midget hockey for former Gamblers head coach Jon Cooper.
Aldrich will officially join the Wild staff effective immediately.
