SOMMARIVA NAMED DIRECTOR OF SCOUTING

The Green Bay Gamblers announced today the hiring of Brian Sommariva as the team’s Director of Scouting. A native of Plymouth, Michigan, Sommariva worked for the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League from 2006-2014, first serving as an assistant coach and then as assistant General Manager (2010-14). He then spent a year with the SOMMARIVA NAMED DIRECTOR OF SCOUTING

JOHN PAGEL SCHOLARSHIP

The Green Bay Gamblers and Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy LLC are proud to introduce the John Pagel scholarship. John was the owner of Pagel’s Ponderosa, the largest family owned dairy farm in Wisconsin. Life is Why

Saturday, March 30 is the 8th Annual American Heart Association Night Presented by North Shore Bank. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the American Heart Association. Heroes in the community will also be recognized for their role in saving lives and raising funds for the American Heart Association. Game time is 7:05 Life is Why

The Green Bay Gamblers dropped a pair (5-3 & 3-1) to the Youngstown Phantoms this past weekend at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. STROKE AWARENESS

On Saturday and Sunday the Green Bay Gamblers and team medical provider Aurora BayCare presented Stroke Awareness Weekend. The two games raised $4,000 for the Green Bay Community Stroke Fund. Stroke information tables were set up on the concourse and along with useful information, fans had the opportunity to speak to a member of the STROKE AWARENESS

Weekend Recap

The Green Bay Gamblers split their two-game homestand with the Central Illinois Flying Aces this past Saturday and Sunday. After falling to the Flying Ace 3-2 on Saturday, they avenged the loss the following afternoon with a 4-0 victory.
