The Green Bay Gamblers played the second leg of a home-and-home with the Madison Capitols Saturday night at the Resch Center. The Gamblers beat the Capitols 7-4, completing the weekend sweep.
The first period saw a goal each from both teams, including the first of Matt DiMarsico’s three goals.
The second saw offensive fireworks, with five goals combined between each team. That included three goals from the Gamblers, scored by DiMarisco, Barrett Hall, and Mikey DeAngelo.
In the last period, Green Bay shut the doors on the Capitols, getting goals from Bodie Nobes and Austin Oravetz, along with DiMarsico finishing off his hat trick, giving the Gamblers a 7-4 win on Teacher Appreciation Night at the Resch Center.
Defensively, Kristoffer Eberly played all 60 minutes, saving 34 of 38 shots, allowing four goals.
All three stars were Green Bay, including DiMarisco, Hall, and Jakub Altrichter.
