The Green Bay Gamblers (22-29-3-1) lost another matchup against Team USA (24-24-4-1) with a 6-2 score.
The first period saw Team USA take control, making it 2-0 heading into the second. This period saw the Gamblers with life, tying the game with scores from Brody Lamb (17) and Cameron Lund (22). However, Team USA responded with a flurry of goals, giving them a 5-2 advantage with one period to play. After another Team USA goal in the third, they would hand the Gamblers a 6-2 loss.
Brody Lamb and Cameron Lund scored one goal each for the Gamblers. Lamb was assisted by Lund (22) and Ryan Greene (29) while Lund’s score came unassisted. In net, goalie Aaron Randazzo played all 60 minutes, saving 30 of 36 shots, allowing six goals.
Green Bay will play the Chicago Steel (34-12-7-1) in Chicago Friday, April 8, at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
Team USA will play the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (25-26-2-1) tomorrow in Cedar Rapids Sunday, April 3, at Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.
