The Green Bay Gamblers announced today that defenseman Nick Leitner has committed to Bemidji State of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Named Gamblers team captain, Leitner has recorded one goal and 11 assists. Prior to this year’s campaign, The Bemidji, MN native appeared in 86 games in two seasons as a member of the Des Moines Buccaneers.
Leitner joins the following Gamblers on the 2018-19 roster to commit to NCAA Division 1 school; Evan Fear (Quinnipiac), Chase Pilawski (Lake Superior State), Ethan Frisch (North Dakota), Jackson Perbix (Minnesota), Tyler Spott (Northeastern), Sam Huff (Minnesota), Rory Hermann (R.P.I.), Paul Maust (Mercyhurst), McKade Webster (Denver), Jesse Tucker (Lake Superior State), Luke Mylymok (Minnesota Duluth), Nicholas Zabenah (Michigan), Noah Prokop (Nebraska Omaha), Ryan Ullan (Northern Michigan), Chris Giroday (Western Michigan) and Dylan Wendt (Michigan).
