The Green Bay Gamblers (11-11-0-1) extended their winning streak to three games as they toppled the Muskegon Lumberjacks (12-10-1-2) in a 6-3 win on Friday at the Resch Center.
The game was a tight contest throughout. In the first period, a Ryan Greene (6) goal made it a 1-1 game heading into the second period. This is where fireworks came for both teams, including scores from Alex Servagno (6) and Jackson Hallum (13) to make it a tie game at 3-3 heading into the final period of play. The Gamblers would put their foot down in the third, scoring three goals to give them a 6-3 win.
Jackson Hallum was the star of the show, scoring 1 goal and adding 3 assists to his name. Other goal scorers include Jarod Crespo (3), Brody Lamb (5), Cameron Lund (9), Alex Servagno (6), and Ryan Greene (6). Greene (10) also contributed to the playmaking department with 2 assists, along with Crespo (10), Luke Weilandt (4), Damien Carfagna (25), and Kent Anderson (7) having 1 assist each. Defensively, replacement goalie Luca DiPasquo was in net, playing all 60 minutes while saving 37 of 40 shots, allowing 3 goals.
