UNABLE TO PLAY CATCH UP THE GAMBLERS FALL 4-1

After beating the Sioux City Musketeers on Friday 4-0 the Gamblers were looking to complete the weekend sweep over them tonight.  In a fast-paced game that saw a lot of shots by both teams, it looked like it would be another exciting game for the season.  However, the Gamblers would struggle to put the puck in the back of the net tonight and would fall to the Musketeers 4-1.

Both teams were finding the looks that they wanted in the first period, with each team getting off 14 shots.  However, the only team that was able to find the back of the net was Sioux City.  The first goal would come 12:46 into the period and the second at the 18:35 mark.

The second period would see fewer shots taken by both teams but that would not stop either team from scoring.  Camden Thiesing would get the Gamblers back into the game with his goal with 5 minutes remaining in the second.  However, after a late Gambler penalty, the Musketeers would score with just 16 seconds left in the period.

The Musketeers would score once more in the final period and would leave the ice with a 4-1 victory over the Gamblers.   Nicholas Grabko was in net tonight for the Gamblers and would save 28 of the 32 shots that he faced on the night.

Gamblers are on the road next weekend to take on the Muskegon Lumberjacks once again.  Last time these two teams faced the Gamblers lost 3-2 after a late Lumberjacks goal.  This time the Gamblers will have two games to make up for that loss when they go up against them on Friday, November 8th and Saturday, November 9th.  Both games start at 6:05 PM and will be streamed on https://www.hockeytv.com.
