Yesterday the USHL announced Gamblers forward Jackson Perbix has been named USHL Forward of the Week.
Perbix scored twice on Friday in Green Bay’s 4-3 shootout victory over Lincoln before recording a hat trick on Saturday against the Stars. The Elk River, MN native now leads the Gamblers in scoring with 31 points (9G, 22A) through 36 games. He is currently sporting a six-game point streak, with 12 points (7G, 5A) in that span and has recorded at least one point in nine of his last 11 contests, recording 17 points (8G, 9A) in those games. Perbix is in his first full USHL season after playing five games with Team USA during the 2016-17 season and suiting up in 17 games with the Gamblers in 2017-18, recording four points (1G, 3A) in those contests. Following the 2017-18 season, he was selected in the fourth round, 116th overall by the Anaheim Ducks at the 2018 NHL Draft. Perbix is committed to the University of Minnesota and was selected 15th overall by Green Bay in the 2016 USHL Phase I Draft. Prior to his time in the USHL, Perbix played for Elk River High (USHS).
The Green Bay Gamblers have announced a reorganization of their scouting department.
Lenny Hoffmann, who was the team’s Director of Scouting since 2014, has moved on from the organization. For the short term, assistant coaches Ryan Petersen and Blake Hietala will assume scouting duties.
The Gamblers will begin a national search to fill the director of scouting position.
The team is at home this weekend with a pair of games against Team USA. Start times on Friday and Saturday is 7:05 p.m.
The Green Bay Gamblers teamed up with Fox Communities Credit Union on Friday, January 11 to raise funds for my TEAM TRIUMPH. Through ticket sales and the 50/50 raffle, myTEAM TRIUMPH raised $3,236 for their program.

Gamblers kick off a 5-game homestand this Friday, a they welcome Team USA to the Resch Center. Friday is Bud ($2 Bud & Bud Light) and Screamin Head Buzz Night. Saturday is the Teachers Dash for Cash and Family Night ($2 Klement’s jumbo dogs & soda). Start time for both games is 7:05 PM.

Saturday, January 19 the Green Bay Gamblers along with North Shore Bank present the Teachers Dash for Cash. This year a record $10,000 will be at center ice for 32 area teachers to collect for their respective schools. Since 2013, Dash for Cash has raised over $55,000 for area elementary, middle and high schools. Teachers are selected based on their essay
“Why I Should Dash for Cash.”
Dash for Cash promotion takes place during the 1st intermission. A large carpet is placed at center ice and covered with 10,000 $1 bills. Horn sounds to start the dash and anything goes as the teachers try to collect as much money as they can. Promotion ends when every dollar is gone.

Participating schools also receive a portion of the night’s ticket sales.
It’s Festival Foods Family Night, featuring $2 Klement’s jumbo dogs, $2 sodas and a $5 ticket discount for children 14 and younger. Start time is 7:05 PM.
