FEAR COMMITS TO QUINNIPIAC

The Green Bay Gamblers announced today that goaltender Evan Fear has committed to Quinnipiac University. The Winnetka, Illinois native is the 16th player on this year’s roster to commit to a NCAA Division 1 school.

Selected by the Gamblers in the 2018 USHL Entry Draft, Fear has appeared in three games this season, posting a 1-2-0 record, 3.04 goals against average and .898 save percentage. Prior to his time in Green Bay, Fear saw action in both the North American Hockey League and United States Hockey League, suiting up for 14 games with Dubuque during the 2016-17 campaign.

Fear joins the following Gamblers on the 2018-19 roster to commit to NCAA Division 1 school; Chase Pilawski (Lake Superior State), Ethan Frisch (North Dakota), Jackson Perbix (Minnesota), Tyler Spott (Northeastern), Sam Huff (Minnesota), Rory Hermann (R.P.I.), Paul Maust (Mercyhurst), McKade Webster (Yale), Jesse Tucker (Lake Superior State), Luke Mylymok (Minnesota Duluth), Nicholas Zabenah (Michigan), Noah Prokop (Nebraska Omaha), Ryan Ullan (Northern Michigan), Chris Giroday (Western Michigan) and Dylan Wendt (Michigan).

The Gamblers return to the Resch Center on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21. Saturday is Suicide Awareness Night with the first 2,000 fans receiving a free pair of socks compliments of the Center for Suicide Awareness.
