Six Gamblers Land on NHL Central Scouting Midseason Rankings

Six former and future Green Bay Gamblers players appeared on the NHL Central Scouting Service’s recently released midseason rankings for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. 2022-22- Gamblers defenseman Artyom Levshunov (currently playing for Michigan State University) is the second overall-ranked North American skater. Shattuck-St. Mary’s left wing Will Zellers is the highest-ranked Gamblers forward at Six Gamblers Land on NHL Central Scouting Midseason Rankings

Former Gamblers Assistant David Carle Named Head Coach of 2024 U.S. National Junior Team

David Carle (Anchorage, Alaska), who recently completed his fifth season at the helm of the University of Denver men’s ice hockey program, will serve as head coach of the 2024 U.S. National Junior Team, it was announced today by USA Hockey. Team USA will play in the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship December 26, 2023 – January 5, Former Gamblers Assistant David Carle Named Head Coach of 2024 U.S. National Junior Team

GAMBLERS ADD VETERAN FORWARD

The Green Bay Gamblers have added forward Charlie Russell to the team’s roster.  Russell comes to the Gamblers from Clarkson University.  Russell will be in the line-up on December 29, when the Gamblers take the ice against Team USA at the Resch Center.   Russell played last season in the USHL with the Fargo Force. WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS  

Adam Gajan and Julian Lutz are competing in the upcoming U20 World Junior Championships, December 26 – January 4 in Gothenburg, Sweden.  Tournament features teams from the Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Norway. Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States.  Overall, 37 current and former USHL players will be competing for gold. Gajan is WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
