Throwback Party at Screamin’ Head Buzz

The Green Bay Gamblers will be hosting a Pre and Post Game Throwback Party at the Screamin Head Buzz on Friday, November 2.  Fans 21 years of age and older can enjoy Miller High Life and Miller High Life Light King Cans for only $3 or a ring of four for $10.00.

After the game, take part in the 1970’s Karaoke contest.  Winner takes home $100.00 cash and “Beer for a Year” compliments of Triangle Distributing.

The Screamin Head Buzz is located just a slap-shot away from the Resch Center on Armed Forces Drive.

Redline Report set for tomorrow night at Anduzzi’s Sports Club

The Red Line Report with Associate Head Coach Pat Mikesch is set for tomorrow night beginning at 7:00 PM at Anduzzi’s Sports Club. Mikesch and the “Voice” of Gamblers hockey Jason Habeck will discuss the team’s month. Joining Jason and Pat are guest defenseman Jake Linhart and forwards Brendan Lemieux and Nick Schmaltz.

While at Anduzzi’s fans can enjoy 30 cent wings and those 21 and over can enjoy double bubble prices for beer and rail drinks.

It’s Throwback weekend at the Brown County Arena as the Gamblers face-off against the Youngstown Phantoms Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd.

Meet the Gamblers this Thursday night

The Green Bay Gamblers will be at the Drift Inn on Thursday, November 1 beginning at 6:00 PM.  The entire team will be available for autographs and photos.  The Drift Inn is home to the best chili and burgers in Northeast Wisconsin.


The Drift Inn is located 1535 North Ashland Avenue in DePere.

Gamblers win big on the road

The Green Bay Gamblers defeated the U-17 USNTDP 6-3 Sunday afternoon at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. Six Gamblers scored in the contest with the first three goals coming off Team USA turnovers to earn the victory. The Gamblers now have a record of 2-7-2 in the regular season.

The Gamblers started the game with a 3-0 lead in the first period. Scoring for the Gamblers was Alex Kile, Sheldon Dries and Brendan Lemieux. Alex Kile struck first for the Gamblers from an assist by Kevin Irwin at the 12:00 mark. The Michigan recruit scored his 6th goal.

Team Captain Sheldon Dries added to the lead with a shorthanded goal at the 13:18 mark. The Western Michigan recruit tallied his 2nd goal on the season.
North Dakota recruit Brendan Lemieux scored his first USHL goal giving the Gamblers a 3-0 lead in the first period at the 16:25 mark.

After 3 unanswered goals by Team USA, Grigory Dikushin scored the go-ahead goal to put his team up 4-3 late in the second period at the 17:03 mark. The forward earned his 3rd goal on the year.

Nicholas Schilkey scored his 3rd goal in the third period to give his team a two goal lead putting the Gamblers up 5-3 at the 6:37 mark.

Nick Schmaltz scored the last goal of the game at the 9:31 mark from an assist by Kyle Novak. The ’96 birth date scored his first goal in the USHL and gave the Gamblers a 3 goal lead to capture the win on the road.

Goalie Richard Sabol started the game with 5 saves on 8 shots. Michael Rotolo entered the game during the second period and shutout Team USA with 16 saves on 16 shots.
