Today the United States Hockey League announced the complete schedule for the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals. The USHL Anderson Cup Champion Green Bay Gamblers will face off against the Indiana Ice in a best of five series. The schedule is as follows:

Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the Pepsi Coliseum in Indiana will be shown “live” on television at the Bay City Smokehouse. Dates and times are listed above. The Bay City Smokehouse is located just a slap-shot away from the Resch Center on Armed Forces Drive.
For Games 1 and 2 children ages 14 and under get $5 off $13 to $17 seats, College Students receive $13 tickets for $9.
2012 Eastern Conference Finals playoff ticket prices are $25, $17, $15, $13 and $9. Tickets go on sale for Games 1, 2 and 5 beginning on Saturday April 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM.

The Green Bay Gamblers defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 4-1 Wednesday night at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. The Gamblers win the second round series 3-1 and will move on to take on either the Dubuque Fighting Saints or the Indiana Ice in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Mike Ambrosia scored for the Youngstown Phantoms early in the first period to give his team the lead at the 1:35 mark. The Phantoms would hold the lead up until midway thru the third period.
After a scoreless second period, leading goal scorer for the Gamblers Nolan LaPorte found the back of the net at the 8:34 mark in the third period unassisted. Sam Herr scored the game winning goal less than 3 minutes later. Herr along with captain Grant Arnold would also add an empty net goal a piece at the end of the contest to give the Gamblers the 4-1 victory.
Ryan McKay recorded the victory between the pipes for the Gamblers turning away 19 of 20 shots on goal.

On Wednesday night Green Bay Gamblers forward Alex Broadhurst became the first player in the 33-year history of the United States Hockey League to record three short-handed goals. On the strength of Broadhurst’s record breaking performance the Gamblers took a 2-1 series lead in the USHL Eastern Division Semi-Finals with a 6-3 win over the Youngstown Phantoms. Game four is set for tonight at theCoveliCenter inYoungstown,Ohio.
Broadhurst scored in each of the three periods. The Chicago Blackhawks draft pick scored at the 2:41 mark of the first, 18:50 mark of the second and completed the hat trick at the 13:34 mark of the third.
In the series versus the Phantoms, Broadhurst has a team high five goals.
Broadhurst, who is in his second year with the Gamblers, led the team in scoring with 73 points (26 goals and 47 assists). The New Lenox,Illinoisnative also played an instrumental part in the Gamblers reaching the Clark Cup Finals last season scoring 9 points.
The Green Bay Gambler defeated the Youngstown Phantoms 6-3 on Tuesday night at the Covelli Center in Youngstown, Ohio. The Gamblers have a 2-1 lead in the best of 5 series.
Alex Broadhurst stole the show scoring a hat trick in the win on Tuesday night. More impressive is the fact that all three goals were scored on the shorthand. Broadhurst opened the scoring early in the first period at the 2:41 mark on the penalty kill. The Chicago Blackhawks draft pick then added a shorthanded goal in the 2nd period and the third period for the hat trick.
Broadhurst is the first player in USHL history to score three shorthanded goals in one game in the history of the USHL.
Veterans C.J. Eick, Grant Arnold and first year forward Sheldon Dries also scored for the Gamblers in the victory.
Ryan McKay recorded the victory turning away 16 of 19 shots on goal.
The Gamblers and Phantoms will face-off for game 4 at the Covelli Center in Youngstown, Iowa tomorrow night. Face-off is set for 6:15pm. Fans can catch the game at the Bay City Smokehouse next to the Resch Center.
