Green Bay Heads to Tri-City

Green Bay will head to the Viaero Center for a weekend clash against the Tri-City Storm. The Gamblers will be looking to continue their impressive run of 8 wins in their last 10, while the Storm will hope to continue stamping their mark on the western conference as they currently sit in 3rd place.

Blake Bechen, and Libor Nemec shined in a midweek win over the Madison Capitols. Bechen tallied a goal and an assist, while Nemec added yet another goal to his impressive campaign. Both players have led the Gamblers in scoring all season and will continue to be counted on in a tough matchup against the Storm. Other players who will need to be at the top of their game are forwards Julian Lutz (3rd most goals on team), and Jayson Shaugabay (most assists), defenders Luke Baker (best +/-), and Jason Gallucci (2nd +/-), and top goaltender Adam Gajan.

Tri-City will welcome the Gamblers to the Viaero Center after winning their last game in Lincoln 5-3. Trevor Connelly has been a huge reason for the Storms success this season as he is currently tied for 3rd in the league in points. He is playing his best hockey right now and scored two goals in the last game. Another player to watch out for is goaltender Cameron Korpi, who currently has the 4th least number of goals allowed per game in the league, as well as tied for the 2nd most wins (behind Gajan).

The Gamblers are at home next on Friday December 8th to take on the Chicago Steel.  Join us Bud Night, a Sock Giveaway and bring a toy or game for the Toys for Tots Drive. Get Tickets: https://tinyurl.com/3pk265vy
