The Green Bay Gamblers raised $7,000 through their in-game meat raffle for the local chapter of Disabled American Veterans. The meat raffle was part of the 12th Annual Military Appreciation Night, Saturday, November 11, 2023.
For the second consecutive year, Military Appreciation Night was sponsored by Badgerland Garage Door Services. Supporting partners included Pure Water Technology and S & L Motors.
The meat raffle featured over $17,000 in products, generously donated by Pelkin’s Smoky Meat Market, Hy-Vee, Salmon’s Meat Products, JBS Green Bay, Melotte Distributing, American Foods Group, Primal Eats, Jacobs Meat Market, Konop Meats, Marchant’s Meats & Sausage, Old Wisconsin, Nueske’s, All Things Jerky, Buffalo Wild Wings, Longhorn Steakhouse, Prime Quarter, PS Seasoning, Mad Dog and Merrill and Carl Buddig.
The Gamblers are home this Saturday (11/18) at the Resch Center versus the Madison Capitols. Start time, 6:00 PM. Purchase individual tickets at www.gamblershockey.com or visit the Resch Center box office open, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday – Friday and on Gambler game days beginning at 10:00 AM.
