The Green Bay Gamblers have acquired forward Tanner Bruender from the Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for a 2024 Phase 2 4th round pick. Bruender will report to Green Bay on September 1 for the start of training camp.
Bruender appeared in 47 games last year for the Stampede, notching seven points (2 goals & 5 assists). The Northern Michigan University commit starred at Chaska High School in Minnesota prior to his time in the USHL.
Bruender is one of 16 players on the Gamblers training camp roster who saw playing time in the USHL last season. The 16 players accounted for 580 games and 181 points in the USHL last season.
The Gamblers home opener for their 30th season in Northeast Wisconsin is Saturday, October 7.
