The Green Bay Gamblers played the Chicago Steel on New Years Eve at the Resch, finishing the game with a 3-1 Gambler win.
Starting off the game strong, the gamblers got one goal each from Peter Kramer and Jake Martin in the first period. In the second, the Gamblers continued putting on the goals with a score from Mikey DeAngelo, giving Green Bay a 3-goal lead heading into the third. Finishing the game strong, the Gamblers beat the conference leaders 3-1.
Defensively, Kristoffer Eberly played all 60 minutes, saving 28 of the 29 shots, allowing just one goal.
All three stars were Gamblers with Martin, Eberly, and DeAngelo earning the honors.
The Gamblers will be back at the Resch Center Friday, January 6 against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
