This week, the Green Bay Gamblers faced the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. The team ended the week on a high note as the Gamblers win in overtime 2-1 Saturday night at the Resch Center.
With a tough start in the first period with no scores on either side, the RoughRiders took the lead in the second 1-0.
During the third period, the Gamblers would tie the score with a goal from Jimmy Clark (4) leaving the score tied 1-1 heading into overtime.
With one minute left in overtime, Eli Sebastian (4) buried the game winner with assists from Mikey DeAngelo (3) and Olivier Chessler (1), ending the week on a good note with a 2-1 energetic overtime win.
The three stars of the game were all Gamblers. Kristoffer Eberly took the third star in net, saving 31 of 32 shots. Jimmy Clark has the second star with his goal and Eli Sebastian took the first star home with his overtime winner.
