(Green Bay, WI) – Forward Cameron Lund and goaltender Austin McNicholas have been named to the 2021 U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team that will compete August 2-7 at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Breclav, Czech Republic, and Piestany, Slovakia. Along with the United States, other countries competing in the tournament include Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Lund (Bridgewater, MA) appeared in 40 games for the Boston Jr. Bruins in 2020-21, tallying 34 points. The Northeastern commit also appeared in two games with Gamblers last season, notching a goal. McNicholas (Clarence Center, New York) was selected by the Gamblers in the 2021 USHL Entry Draft. McNicholas played the 2020-21 season with the Rochester Coalition 18U AAA.
