The Green Bay Gamblers announced on Tuesday that they have acquired Muskegon Lumberjacks defenseman John Prokop. In exchange, the Gamblers trade the rights to Dylan Wendt to Muskegon. Prokop, who hails from Wausau, is in his second year in the USHL. The Providence College recruit appeared in 25 games last season with Omaha, recording four assists. In 11 games with Muskegon, Prokop has a goal and an assist. Wendt is also in his second year in the USHL. The University of Michigan recruit had 18 points last season in 58 games. In 2019-20. Wendt has two goals and two assists in nine games. Prokop is expected to be in the line-up this weekend as the Gamblers travel to Sioux Falls for a pair of games against the defending Clark Cup champion Stampede.
