16th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Set for This Saturday

There’ll be bears in the air at the Resch Center as the Green Bay Gamblers present their 16th annual Teddy Bear Toss Night presented by Community First Credit Union.  It’s one of the most popular nights of the year for the Gamblers as they host the Chicago Steel at the Resch Center this Saturday, January 31 at 7:05pm.

Every fan is asked to bring a new teddy bear to the game.  When the Gamblers score their first goal, everyone tosses their bear on the ice.  The donated bears will be picked up and given to pediatric patients at AuroraBayCareMedicalCenter and clinics as well as other community organizations.

More than 6,500 teddy bears were tossed on the ice at last year’s event.  Since its inception, the teddy bear toss has collected more than 84,500 teddy bears for children in a time of need.

Tickets are available on-line at www.gamblershockey.com, at all Ticket Star locations, including the Resch Center box office, and by phone 800.895.0071.
